PictCon is a small science fiction and fantasy convention, run by volunteers, for people who want to talk about science fiction and fantasy.

Guest of Honour: Neil Williamson
Neil Williamson is a multi-genre writer, editor and musician from Glasgow. He is the author of two fantasy novels, The Moon King and Queen Of Clouds, and other works of science fiction, fantasy and horror, including over eighty short stories.
Next Convention:
PictCon2 – 17th October 2026
Join us for panels, interviews, workshops, book and crafts dealers, RPGs – all with a Scottish flavour.
Scottish fans, authors, and publishing industry professionals discuss genre books, folklore and myth, science and society, and how these feed back into our favourite fiction!
You can browse and buy from our dealers tables where crafts and books are for sale.
Come and enjoy a friendly, cheerful atmosphere in beautiful Perth.
